Refund Policy

1. Overview

Ring Reader (ringreader.app) is operated by apocha UG (haftungsbeschränkt). Ring Reader offers one-time purchases for its Plus (€4.99) and Pro (€24.99) tiers. The Free tier requires no payment and is not subject to this refund policy.

All payments are processed by Paddle.com (Paddle) as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, sales tax, and refund processing on our behalf.

2. Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, this right may be waived if delivery begins immediately with your explicit consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

Regardless of any such waiver, Ring Reader offers a voluntary 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within this period.

Refund requests are eligible if submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date. Each purchase is eligible for one refund. Refunds are issued for the full purchase amount.

After a refund is processed, your account will be reverted to the Free tier.

5. Processing

Refunds are processed through Paddle. Once approved, Paddle will initiate the refund to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your payment provider but typically take 5–10 business days.
